Sheilagh Durkin is the founder of Co-creative Health, a healing arts center focused on assisting people with the multi-dimensional issues that challenge our health and well being. An inquiry into the root causes of illness and suffering has led to courses of study within many disciplines. In addition to apprenticing with highly skilled practitioners and teachers, she has studied the Toltec tradition, post-traumatic stress phenomena, and graduated from the School for Multi-dimensional Healing. She is a Reiki Master and holds a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine, allowing her to practice the ancient art of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.

Early in her energy work practice, Sheilagh began to see the patterns at work in the human energy system that organize our perceptual mind as well as our physiology. Observation and inquiry concerning the nature of these patterns led to the development of an approach that decodes the energy of imbalances and helps people release the old patterns, freeing the body and mind from limitation formed by past experiences – personal, ancestral, and collective. Through her work, Sheilagh helps people to recognize the opportunity trauma, loss, and illness present to release old unconscious patterns that were previously unaccessible.

This approach allows our human challenges to be potent gateways to our true nature and authentic power. Sheilagh developed an 8-step method for applying co-creative principles to any healing process. She uses this method to engage with the human energy system, Nature, and the Divine to find effective, balanced, and sustainable solutions to problems. She teaches the method to clients and students so that they can consciously engage with their own healing process and be healthy and effective forces of change in the world. Inquiry and inspiration continue to drive the edge of the co-creative healing approach so that the solutions to our personal issues ripple outwardly, creating greater potential for healing and awakening within the collective.

Sheilagh is a principal founder of the Tapestry Initiative, an organization dedicated to the contemplation and understanding of impermanence. In addition to working individually with clients, Sheilagh teaches classes and facilitates the LIGHTWORK regularly in Portsmouth, NH.
